Shaina M. H. Swanson

Senior Associate

Shaina is a Senior Associate with the firm licensed in 2019. In addition to earning a law degree, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of South Dakota. While in law school, Shaina served as executive editor on the Baylor Law Review and graduated as the highest-ranking student in her class. Prior to pursuing a law degree, Shaina served an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Officer in the United States Army.

Practice Emphasis

Shaina’s practice is focused on representing subcontractors and general contractors in disputes related to both public and private projects. These disputes typically involve performance and payment issues, construction defects, terminations, claims against sureties, and lien and bond claims. Shaina represents clients through all aspects of the litigation process, including settlement negotiations, motion practice, discovery, and trial.
