Practice Areas

Our firm represents general contractors, subcontractors, developers, select private and public owners, and vendors involved in all types of construction. Our clients build or own both public and private projects. Examples include highways, parks, rest areas, hospitals, shopping centers, water treatment plants, courthouses, commercial and residential structures, office buildings, parking garages, schools, churches, gymnasiums, multi-family residential complexes, barracks and military training facilities.

Claims and disagreements between parties are inevitable in the construction industry. We work hard to assist our clients to avoid claims and manage risk. This process starts with drafting, evaluating and negotiating quality agreements. When problems arise, we counsel our clients to resolve differences, document and preserve claims, and strive for positive outcomes without resorting to expensive litigation.

Nevertheless, when required, our attorneys have the experience and advocacy skills necessary to aggressively pursue and defend all types of complex construction litigation. We regularly prosecute and defend cases in state and federal courts, arbitrations, state administrative hearings and before federal boards of contract appeals.
