Calvin Cowan Wins Summary Judgment Defending General Contractor

Calvin Cowan obtained summary judgment in defense of a general contractor against a banking institution seeking more than $150,000.00 in economic damages. The bank alleged the client “converted” property belonging to a subcontractor that the bank claimed as collateral. In its order granting summary judgment, the court agreed that the bank had not produced a scintilla of evidence to support its damage claim.
