It is with a sad heart that the law firm of Sanderford & Carroll, P.C. shares the news that Paul Sanderford died October 12, 2024 following a short, but courageous, battle with cancer.
Paul was a great a husband, father, mentor, lawyer, advisor, a civic and church leader, and role model for many. He practiced construction and public procurement law for 35 years. Paul developed the curriculum for a Construction Law Course at his alma matter Baylor Law School, where he served as adjunct professor of construction law since 2012.
Paul’s career began in 1989 at the firm of Gandy, Michener, Swindle, Whitaker & Pratt, LLP. He also practiced as an associate at Canterbury, Stuber, Pratt, Elder & Gooch in Dallas. In 1997, Paul and Donald Pratt founded the firm of Pratt & Sanderford, P.C. Since 2007, he held the position as Senior Partner for Sanderford & Carroll, P.C. located in Temple.
