Ryan is an associate with the firm. Licensed in 2017, Ryan’s practice is focused primarily on construction litigation. In addition to his law degree, Ryan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Concordia University at Austin. While in law school, Ryan specialized in real estate and natural resources law, which gives him an insight into the nature of claims and transactions involving real property. Prior to pursuing his law degree, Ryan worked for a leading insurance brokerage and consulting services firm. He also served as Director of Business Development for an Austin-based firm that specialized in providing CFO and accounting services to small and mid-sized businesses.
Ryan's practice is focused on representing subcontractors and general contractors in disputes related to both public and private projects. These disputes involve performance and payment issues, construction defects, scheduling impact claims, claims against sureties, and lien and bond claims. Ryan represents clients through all aspects of the litigation process, including settlement negotiations, motion practice, discovery, and trial.
